- the end of the crack cocaine epidemic and the strong economy
-instead of rising the young immigrants they rise the rate of
adults who commit fewer crimes
-broken windows theory
these are some notes ... I tried to understand the whole text.. but it didn't work
so I just posted some notes ...
maybe you could help me to understand this part of the text.. :

Chapter 31 - 41
Chapter 31 : The piranha
Tobias and Molly are talking about their pets and how hard the model life is.
After they called in Tobias asks Molly if she wants to see his piranha.
She accept.
They walk to Claude because he has keep his piranha there, in the guest room.
After Tobi had showed how the fish has lacerated the rotisserie-cooked chicken
she says she has to leave.
Tobi invites her to the New Year's Eve and she had said that she will come.
Chapter 32 : The forensic test
The forensic test have identified that the blood on Hunters shirt is Nanas.
In the holding cel Hunter is thinking about friday night if someone has seen him.
He remembers that an old tall man with crooked teeths and ragged suit has asked him for money.
Chapter 33 : I want it real
Mike was angry as he saw the wig on his mother corpse,
because he wanted it "real" at the funeral.
He would have rather seen her with her head bald
Chapter 34 : The bells
Chris is watching TV as the deliverboy come.
After he has signed he goes to the boxes that the boy delivered
and opened it.
There were different size of bells.
the bigger the bell isthe better is the relationship between
Chris &Claudes parents and who gets the gift.
He plays a little bit with them and goes upside watching TV
to kill the hours before going to his aunt's cocktail party

The teachers said Mike is a thinker.

Chris and Clade smokes a joint together before going to the cocktail party.

Jessica has taken all the “Twelve” by midnight, which she has saved for New Year’s Eve.
When she woke up her sheets were damp with sweat.
Chapter 38 : Alice
The boy that White Mike sells to reminds him of the summer than he has worked
at a camp.
He remembered the time with Alice than they hang out behind the boathouse and talks
about their first thing they've done in life.
He rembered that she said that he should read a book named "The Plague".
Than he is passing Barnes & Noble he has bought the book
and read it at home.
Chapter 39 : The Uzi
After the party Claude calls Tobias to go with him
back to the place where they have bought their weapons.
Than they were waling downtown Chris starts to run away from him
cause he decided to stay alone.
Than he enters the store he is looking for something special
and he get it from the cashier an uzi .

WHile White Mike is reading "The Plague" he fells asleep.
He dreams that he stands at a swaying building in an empty city.
It is raining and storming.
He feels himself flailing on the way down.

in a new house.
Now it is three and a half years ago.
The most things is stacked haphazardly.
It was the first night in his room.
Chapter 22 : The wile
Sarah goes to Chris because she wants to make a big party on New Year's eve at Chris house.
Chris and Sarah move to Chris room.
Sarah tries to convince Chris to throw a big party at his house
but he doesn't seem to be happy about it ,so Sarah begins to play with
her womanly wiles and get his suggestion for throwing a big party on New Year's.
Chapter 23 : The deal with Jessica
White Mike is walking down the Lexington toward Ninety-first Street to sell "Twelve"
to Jessica.
Lionel is with him a creepy dude with his brown and yellow bloodshot eyes.
He is carrying a gun and has a son named Jeremy.
She buys five tiny Baggies for thousand dollars after the deal she asks for Lionel’s number.
Chapter 24 : The favorite drink of White Mikes mother
White Mike wakes up and poures himself a champagne flute of undiluted cranberry juice,
this was his mother´s favorite drink.
His mother said to Michael that he should always live the best live he can.

Chapter 25 : The truth behind Charlies disappearance
After Jessica walks away , White Mike asks Lionel for his cousin Charlie.
Mike says that Lionel should tell him that he's looking for him.
Charlie is the cousin of Mike and he is in the same age.
They grew up and spend the most time together and
look like brothers nearly twins.
Mike thinks that Charlie has taken distance of him
but it's wrong he still doesn't know that Charlie get killed by Lionel
Chapter 26 : The walk
Jessica walks down the Fifth Avenue and is proud of the
drugs he has bought.
Chapter 27 : The reason why White Mike doesn't take drugs
Hunter asked Mike why he didn't take drugs and he answered that
he never had the urge
Chapter 28 : Charlies Travel
Mike rememberes the time as Charlie wanted to fly to florida.
He hadn't enough money so he pawned the necklace of his mum
and bought a weapon in the same shop.
As Charlie's mum came back and noticed the necklace was "stolen"
she fired the maid and claimed for an influence.
Mike convinced Charlie to tell her the truth
and he did it.
It ends up in influenced fraud and Charlie had to go into a bootcamp

Tobias has a meeting with his model-agency.
He was discovered, when he was eleven
Now he wants to become a full-time model after finishing the high school.
He was thinking about a tattoo above his ass.
Then he goes to the waiting room there is a beautiful girl,probably a model
and he thinks about how much he would like to sleep with her.

The girl he wants to sleep with is Molly.
She is sixteen and isn't interested in Tobi.
She had unrequited crush on Mike in her eighth grade year.

Chapter 11 - 20
Chapter 11 : Where's your brother?
Sarah is just one hour at the party and get bored.
She doesn't smoke a joint or drink a beer.
She only asks for Chris Brother Claude.
Chapter 12 : Claude & Tobias
Chris´s brother Claude and his friend Tobias walking down the Malberry Street.
They are walking through Chinatown to buy some weapons.
After he has bought his weapons in a trinket shop he goes home
[the party is still going on].
He goes to his room and takes all his clothes out of his wardrobe
and put them under his bed
then he puts all his weapons in the wardrobe.
It looks like a privat shrine.
Claude is six feet two inches tall and he's strong (not like his brother ).
he has a pefect skin and an angular face.
He listens to rap and metal and he used to do blizzards of cocaine.
He isn't a good studen or an athelet.
Tobias is a pretty boy and works as a part-time model.
Chapter 13 : Mikes Room & Reference
White Mike is a fan of Samurais since he was a little kid.
Now he lives in an apartment with his father, but he never sees him.
He forces himself to do things and after he does all those things.
He sits on his desk and organized his Weed for selling.
Chapter 14 : The strange favour
Chris went to the bathroom and he found Jessica lying on the ground.
He looks at he for a long time and he likes to stare at a live girl like this.
Chapter 15 : The rapist
When White was in the tenth-grade there was a rapist at large,
the Upper East Side Rapist.
Some girl named Megan asks Mike to walk home with her,
because she's afraid of getting raped.

Chapter part II 16 : The Investigation
The detectives is at the rec because of the double murder at the Jefferson Houses.
At the rec they asks Arturo about Nana he tells them a lot of lies.
The other players know that he is telling lies but they haven't say anything,
so the police bringing Hunter for questioning.
[He couldn’t believe it was too easy because of the blood on Hunter’s clothes]
He doesn't know who he should call,
because his parents are in Europe and Mike is a drug dealer but then he remembers Andrew,
Andrew’s father is working together with his father so maybe he can help him.
So he calls Andrew's father meanwhile s sample of the blood on his shirt is on the way to the lab
Chapter 17 : The Central Zoo Park with Warrens Nanny
As Mike [ Michael ] walk through the Park he remembers
the time with his friends Hunter,Warren and Charlie.
He remembers how fun it was to go with them in the Central Park Zoo
and how nice Warrrens Nanny is who has raised them up.
And he is imagine what she would say and what he would say if he would see her.
Chapter 18 : The Accident
Jessica gets up at eleven o´clock and remembers that Chris put her in a cab.
Today she has a date with her three girls they want to go ice-skating.
She knows she's smarter than they but few fundamental things hold them together :

While they are skating and giggling a gawky kid named Andrew slips and falls in front of them.

The girls are totally freaked out and go to the Jackson Hole to have a hot chocolate together.
But as they are on the Fith Avenue Jessica heads a different direction to make a call.
She thanks Chris for has taken her in a cab and asks for the new drug "twelve".

Andrew has to stay at the Lenox Hill Hospital for obervation for six hours,
because the stiches are so close to his eye.
He shars a room with Sarahs Ludolow's boyfriend Sean.
He was the captain of the football team, skier at vall and has brown hairs.
He was there because of a car accident.
Sean and Sarah talk a while but he doesn't seem very interested to talk with Sarah
unlike Andrew.
As Sarah heard what kind of music Andrew listen to she likes it
cause she listen to the same music and she hasn't the CD Album yet so Andrew lend it to her
about to see her again.

Chapter 1 : White Mike
White Mike is a good student and takes out of school for about 1 year or more
before he goes to college .
White Mike has never smoked or took any drugs , he's clean and a good drug dealer.
His drug career starts with an one shot deal with his cousin Charlie.
When he first starts to deal it was summer ,
he tries to stay awake as long as he can.
It is 3 days ago since he has slept , he feels good.
That is what he has said as his good friend Mike has asked him
but in the reality he gets scary , so scary that the people will flinch if they see him
and he gets a little bit crazy, he runs howls and barks after private school kids,
just because they say Madman to him.
In the Park Avenue he remembers the night
when his mother has been still alive and tells him about the chaos theory.
He still knows every word she has said .
The words is still on his mind .
Chapter 2 :Hunter and Nana
It is teeen night twenty blocks uptown the Rec.
Mike and Hunter McCulloch is also there.
Hunter is a likeable guy and no one thinks about him less.
He is 6 feet tall , a beef kid and has the best ups of anybody but he has the
worst ball-handling skills.
As Nana , the best ball handler on the court sees Mike has replaced Nanas position
he wants his spot back.
But those "nigga" on the court wants to play with Mike and not with Nana.
Nana is pissed of and after a time they starts to fight.
After a few punches and kicks other kids pull them away.
The both fighter are covered with blood,
but Arturo a short Puerto Rican wants to see more fight
so he calls Hunter a pussy.
Hunter is crazed and throw the basketball against Aturos head.
It was so hard thats hitting him dead on.
Chapter 3 : The old times
As Mike walks into the gym he saw a strong black kid who are covered with blood
and as he is inside the gym he sees Hunter and the floor which is covered with blood ,too.
In his mind he knows what has happened , but he has asked Hunter anyway.
After that they go to Mc Donald and talks about the past and the future about
going to Harvord together then it would be like in the past.
The 3 would be together again Mike , Hunter and Warren.
They are still in the past with their minds
as the beeper of Mike begin to vibrate and he gotta go.
Chapter 4 : The Chaos Theory
As Mike has had waiting for a customer on the East End Avenue he has seen
the effect of an cigarette lit.
The cigarette lit generate a chain reaction and
